This short course is about your legal responsibilities if you are a dog owner, or have responsibility for someone else’s dog, for example, you are dog walker, provide day care or boarding.
You will learn about your legal duties in relation to the welfare of a dog, as set out under the Animal Welfare Acts, and your legal responsibilities when in charge of a dog.
This course has been developed in conjunction with Our Family Dog. It takes roughly 1+ hours to complete and is followed by a short assessment leading to a certificate.
Equipment requirements: online access, suitable PC, laptop, tablet
Assessment takes approx 10-20 minutes and you have three attempts.
